Solemates {Meet my Missoni flats}

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Yes, I am referring to my feet and my new Missoni flats. A bit ridiculous I know, but I've been dreaming about these babies for quite awhile now and we almost didn't connect. I arrived at my Target at about 8:20 am and the shelves were bare. I was crushed. Until, I saw an employee carrying out a stack of shoe boxes to the hoards of women standing around anxiously awaiting more loot. Everyone stood there a little frozen when he set them down, but not me. I dashed towards the shelves and snagged the box not knowing what size they were. Alas, they were a size 8. Hallelujah! I also got some goodies for the girls but missed out on the dress and mugs I was dreaming of. Oh well!

Even my two year old knows good fashion when she sees it, mission accomplished!

PS: What are your thoughts on buying Missoni for Target on Ebay? Obviously hate the jerks that cleared the shelves just to resell, but are you joining in on the boycott? {For the record, there were 20,000 listings for Missoni for Target on ebay when I wrote this, grrrrrrr!}

Target Does it Again With Splendid Littles

Monday, January 17, 2011

Hi, I'm Paige and I am a Target addict. There, I said it. It's true and I know most people feel that way. You know those games you play, like if you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Well, if I only had one store for the rest of my life, it would definitely be Target. And I know, I'm not alone in my love of this amazing place.

Target has done it again in the fashion world, this time for kids. Sure, the Cherokee and Circo lines are cute. I even love their Dwell Studio line for kids. But their new line called Splendid Littles for target line takes the cake. Why pay $64 for the real deal toddler dress from Splendid when you can get almost the same thing at Target for $15, unless you are the kind of person who likes paying too much for something. I am not that person!  But I am a sucker for just about anything striped  Not only are these outfits cute but they feel like luxurious pima cotton. Ahh Target, why must you make me spend so much money within your four walls?

Lucky for me, my girls each were given this dress for Charley's birthday.  Thank you Laura!

Ruffles and stripes? Yes, please!
Hurry up and pick these babies up, they will be gone in March and probably before that if you don't get to your Target soon.
