I'm seriously dying over this pouf. As in, might sell off one of my children. (Mom, I'm just kidding!) But really, I LOVE this thing. Do you think my husband might not notice $438 missing from our bank account?
Here is the pouf featured over at me oh my in her daughter's nursery, so amazing!
Now, I'm wondering, can I DIY this? Maybe if I get a Silhouette machine to cut out the flowers...
It looks super easy to make.. I would use leather or something close to it for the flower petals. Just need to make several of them. Some really big, some a little big smaller, and all the way down to really tiny ones. Looks lovely, especially with the different pink Tones. Please show us your project if you do make one :)
Toray ultrasuede would work great too because it doesn't fray, comes in gorgeous, saturated colors and is polyester so it won't wrinkle and will hold up indefinitely. Good luck, can't wait to see yours! Just found your blog thru 6th street and love it!
Love your blog and wish to see more! Spent our drive to SLO reading your blog Found it from 6 TH street Can u share more info on where you bought your pom trim on the nursery and how u scored a deal on the orange chair??
i just found your blog while wandering tonight. this pouf is really fun and totally DIYable. sadly you wont be able to cut that thick of fabric with a silhouette. but i can think of an easy way to cut it. email me if you want help.
Hi there! I just found your blog and have been LOVING it!! Definitely bookmarked. :)
I've been searching for upholstered ottomans for a client of mine and I happened across this one: http://www.hsn.com/andrea-stark-home-collection-handcrafted-rose-pouf_p-6422750_xp.aspx?&cm_re=merchzone_carousel*page1_spot1_image*merchzones&o=search-RI&cm_sp=Recommended*Search*top and I remembered your post! It's only $139 and pretty similar to the dream pouf you posted. If you opt to DIY, I'm sure it will be gorgeous! Good luck!
