We just got back from an amazing trip to Lake Tahoe where we got to visit with the hubs/daddy and frolic in the snow. In case you are new around here, Paul has been in Nevada for some Navy training for SEVEN weeks. Needless to say, we have been missing him a lot. We traveled through a gnarly storm to make it there on Friday and barely made it past highway closures. Paul was only able to stay with us for 48 hours and we weren't going to let anything get in the way of our precious time together.
On our way to find some sledding hills, we spotted a sleigh ride. Our horse, Major, was stunning and the powdery snow was unbelievable.
Charley fed Major a snack and hasn't stopped talking about it. She calls him "Nature".

Moments like these are what our trip was all about. The girls LOVE their Daddy!

Charley kept saying "I love snow!" Can you tell?
We played in the snow one last time on our way out of town so Quinne could experience it for the first time. I'd say she likes it as much as her big sister.

We are all counting down the days until Paul comes home in a few weeks.
