I love unique home items and more than that, I love unique home items at a good price. Enter, HomeGoods! I'm always looking for steals when it comes to art and accessories for clients and HomeGoods is my first stop. Plus, I can find some unique pieces here that I wouldn't find at Pottery Barn or Z-Gallerie. I think it's more important to blow your budget on gorgeous fabrics (my weakness!) and the main furniture pieces, ie. sofas, dining table, than to blow it on an $800 lamp.
Here are some fun finds I spotted on a shopping trip yesterday.
surprisingly beautiful pillows (though I'm still a sucker for a custom made pillow)
these would also need to have down inserts for a designer-y feel
gorgeous art that would have been perfect in Q's room, dangit!
a couple of chairs with really fun prints
love an X bench, this dresser was gorgeous in person with great details
i did grab that gorgeous blue box, and the ferris wheel is for a nursery i am working on
i grabbed both of these for a client's dining room, the bottom piece of art is about 8 feet long, stunning!
in fact, i had to fight off another shopper for these pieces
Happy Shopping!

Paige- First of all I love homegoods also. They really have the best treasures. More importantly though, I am so inspired by your design style and party planning expertise :) The monkey bday party for your daughter was the cutest party I have ever seen. I just might steal some of those incredible styling ideas. Thanks for the inspiration :) xo Justine
